About Us

We are a multi-million dollar privately held concern.  As such, we only conduct background checks for companies that have 500+ employees or are referred by a current client.  Effective communication is the key to our mutual success.  It’s our job to make your job easier.

We accomplish this by:

  • Creating an industry specific background check to fit your needs
  • Entering in your data at no additional charge
  • Sending timely status updates
  • Creating customized invoices to meet your requirements
  • Providing investigative analysis and compliance guidance

Experience

Since 1991, Collard Investigations Internationale, LLC and its division GObackgrounds.com have helped over 2,500 companies make an informed hiring decision.  We bring our 20+ years of experience to bear in every background check you receive from us.

When looking through an investigator’s prism, the real benefit comes from us being able to provide qualitative investigative analysis, critical thinking and FCRA compliance to give your company a real hiring edge.

FCRA Compliance

As a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) we must be compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and best business practices.  As such, we are also obligated to make sure that our clients are compliant as well.  At times we may have to remove, update or otherwise modify our results based upon federal or state statutes before the final background check is received the by the client.

Legal Representation

GObackgrounds.com is legally represented by Pam Quigley Devata with the law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP – Chicago Office.  Ms. Devata is a nationally recognized leader in providing FCRA guidance for the background check industry.
