Patrick K. Collard, MHR
Located in San Diego, California, Mr. Collard has worked in the Human Resources field for over 25 years conducting recruiting, interviewing, and employment screening. As a Human Resources Consultant that focuses on small businesses as defined by the Small Business Administration (i.e., 500 employees or less), he has continuously demonstrated success from hire-to-fire for his clients. However, his strengths include the hiring process (i.e., recruiting, telephone/video interviewing, screening), employment law, the creation of job descriptions/profiles, performing job/salary analyses, and writing job offers and policies.
Mr. Collard holds both a B.A. in Law and Society Phi Kappa Phi and a Master of Human Resources and Employment Relations with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law from Penn State University. His capstone/thesis was entitled A Small Business Perspective: Minimizing Discrimination in Recruiting, Interviewing, and Screening.

Amy A. Schmidt, MST, CPA

Located in Wisconsin, Ms. Schmidt is responsible for client accounts, and company financials, budgeting, and forecasting.
In conjunction with working at trustHR | GObackgrounds for over 25 years, Ms. Schmidt also maintains a thriving small business accounting practice and has worked for several national public accounting firms in Milwaukee, Wisconsin over the course of her career.
In addition to being a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Schmidt holds an M.S. in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a B.A. in Accounting from Marquette University. She is also an active member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves as financial adviser to the Montessori School of Waukesha.
