1. What size companies do you work for?

GObackgrounds.com only conducts custom background checks for companies with 500+ employees or for companies that have been referred by a current client.

2. Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes, we do offer volume discounts.  Because we only work with larger clients, our custom pricing plans start at $25,000 per year, i.e., more than $2,000 per month.  For example, during the first three (3) months of our relationship, if your company spends more than $6,000 with us, you will save “X” percent on the remaining nine (9) months.  The first quarter of our relationship always sets your percentage of savings for the rest of the year, regardless if you spend more or less during these remaining nine (9) months.  This works the same way for subsequent years, using your sign up date as the start date for your percentage to be calculated.  We also offer $50,000 and $100,000 per year discounted pricing plans for additional savings.

Calculation of your savings percentage does not include third party verification fees or government mandated court fees.  These are pass-through fees.  As such, these fees are simply passed-through to the client without any markup.  All prices are in United States Dollars (USD).  You may cancel at anytime.  However, by cancelling you will automatically revert to the lowest percentage of savings plan if you choose to return, regardless of previous savings plan held.  The aforementioned three (3) month scenario is repeated to calculate your percentage of savings for the remaining nine (9) months.  Your re-sign up date is used as the new start date.

3. How do I open an account and what is the cost?

Sign Up and enter in your information to open an account.  It costs nothing, and it only takes about five (5) minutes. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no hidden fees.  You will always know what the total amount of your background check will be before placing your order.

4. How long does it take to approve my account?

Account approval is about an hour, if your application is complete and accurate.  Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PT). GObackgrounds.com offices will be closed in observance of all U.S. holidays.

5. How long will my background check take?

It depends on the complexity of your background check.  However, our turnaround time for a completed background check as of December 30, 2012 was exactly fifteen (15) hours. International background checks may take 5-10 business days to complete depending on the country searched.

6. What if my background check contains inaccurate information or is missing information?

8. Who enters my background check information?

You or your Human Resources (HR) department may wish to enter in your background check information or we can do it for you – at no additional charge.

9. How do I pay for your services?

There are two (2) ways to pay for our services, one is GObackgrounds.com  Credit, where as a client you are billed with terms of Net thirty (30) days.  Referred clients are automatically extended terms if so desired. The second way is Credit Card, where as a client you may pay instantly with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card.  New clients must pay by credit card, unless other arrangements e.g., referred client, purchase order, etc. have been made with our accounting department | 1(888) GOBACK-1 (462-2251) option 4.

10. Do you conduct background checks for individuals?

No.  GObackgrounds.com only conducts custom background checks for companies with 500+ employees or for companies that have been referred by a current client.

11. Are you accepting non-profits, i.e. 501(c)(3) as clients?

No.  We no longer accept non-profit, i.e. 501(c)(3) as clients.  However, we will continue to conduct background checks for our current non-profit and pro bono publico clients as our schedule permits.
